Lis Addison is a Musician, Dancer and Professor of Environmental Science. She has produced 16 albums and numerous soundtracks and has toured 11 countries as a performer and workshop presenter. In 2013 she established The Singing Tree Institute with David Mutinda of Kitui, Kenya. They have since planted 7,000 trees in Kambaland, a rural area of Kenya and home to the Kamba people. Their mission is to help reforest the region and plant food forests for the local people who are mostly subsistence farmers. Lis is also engaged in documenting traditional Kamba songs and dances for future generations.

We are committed to turning around the lives of homeless children and young mothers in Uganda. Our work helps and protects young mothers, orphans & vulnerable children from being exploited i.e. being house girls & boys & to protect them from child labor.
