Walk to End Lupus

Joan Pendleton is a member of the Lupus Foundation of America’s national staff and is the Development Director for the San Francisco, Arizona, and Chicago markets.

Joan has spent her career in the non-profit space and returned to the Lupus Foundation of America in the fall of 2019 and had previously been with the organization for 8 years.

Joan is passionate about the lupus community, building awareness of lupus and raising funds to support programs in research, education, advocacy and direct services for people with lupus.

Joan was asked to manage the San Francisco Walk in 2018 and was excited to meet the dedicated and committed volunteers who participated in the event and the committee that helped build it.

We’re so excited to be back in Golden Gate Park on October 23rd after being virtual for the past two years.
